About us, our stores, and our plantation home

Sweet Home Antiques, established in 1998, has been heralded in the New York Times,

Southern Living, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and other media outlets as one of

the premier antiques shops in the South.

Owners, Bruce Thompson and Phillip Rogers, scour shops, warehouses, flea markets and estate sales in England, France and the United States to present the best unusual and affordable antique furniture, porcelain, paintings, prints, vintage photography and quality antique reproductions and decorative accessories.

Named for an 1840 plantation home the owners purchased 25 years ago, Sweet Home Plantation, the shop is an important component of Sweet Home Enterprises, which includes Country Gardens, a beautiful and fun shop specializing in antique garden statuary and urns, garden tools, plants, fine silk florals, and unusual and affordable garden-related gift items and home accessories.  Chanticleer which shares the same block in downtown Pine Mountain is a country French influenced shop offering a wide array of country painted furniture, paintings, lamps, pillows, tabletop
décor and many fine decorative accessories.

The inventory in all the shops is constantly changing with new arrivals weekly.  Our customer service is second to none with delivery available world-wide.  Please check our web site frequently and come visit us soon.  Let’s become friends.
